About the Temple:
Kadri Manjunath Temple is in Kadri, Mangalore. Kadri Manjunath. The temple was built during the 10 th or 11 th century and Lord Manjunathaswamy idol is considered the oldest of the temples in South India. The temple also has tanks with natural springs and laterite caves also known as the Pandava Caves. The bronze image of Lokeshawara and Guatama Buddha in the Dhyani posture point to its Buddhist origins. Temple is one of the best examples of religious harmony, where people from two faiths, Hinduism, and Buddhism worship together with the deity of Lord Shiva as Lord Manjunatha.

Yathri Nivasa of Sri Kadri Manjunatheshwara Temple was established in the year 2010. The facility is present within the temple premises. The Yathri Nivasa has 24 rooms of which 3 are double bed rooms and 21 are single bed rooms. The rooms have attached toilet and wash room, pure drinking water and 24 hours water supply facilities.
