  • Children under the age of 12 are allowed for free, while those who are 12 years old or older will be charged as adults.
  • Each room can accommodate up to two adults and one child.
  • User can book maximum upto 2 rooms and rooms can be booked for maximum 3 days.
  • No refund and no cancellation.
  • Caution deposit has to be deposited to the manager. Please ensure that you carry the caution deposit, in cash.
  • No food should be carried inside the room.
  • In case of any government emergency, room bookings will be cancelled, and we will refund your money.
  • At the time of entry, all devotees shall produce the same original ID proof used during booking. Age proof shall be produced for children below stipulated age to entry the temple without booking tickets.
  • The devotees shall wear traditional dress only. Male: Dhoti, Shirt/Kurtha, Pyjama / Pant. Female: Saree / Half Saree / Chudidar with Dupatta.
  • All the devotees in group ticket have to report together.
  • All the devotees shall report as per their time slot only.
  • All bookings are FIANL. Postponement / advancement / cancellation / refund is not allowed (if paid).
  • Entry with foot wear is not permitted into the queue lines and Temple.
  • In view of Covid-19, all the devotees should maintain social distancing, should wear mask, shall co-operate for thermal screening and should carry personal sanitizer. Entry will only be permitted to those who wear masks.
  • Touching of idols, holy books and statues will not be allowed, and physical distances will have to be maintained in queues through markings.
  • Physical offerings like holy water will not be permitted.
  • Devotees will not be allowed to ring bells when they entry the temples and there will be no community feasts either.
  • Check-in from 09:00 am, checkout time till next day 09:00 am.

About the Temple:
Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple, Tirumala is one of the holiest site for all the Hindus residing across the world, as it is believed that Lord Vishnu took this form to save humanity from the problems of Kaliyuga. It is the most visited religious site and richest religious centre in the world. The temple receives thousands of pilgrims every day, while standing in long queues for hours to get darshan of Lord Venkateshwara. Devotees believe that visiting the temple and seeking blessings of Lord Venkateshwara brings prosperity, good fortune and spiritual enlightenment.

About the Facility/Choultry:
Karnataka State Charities at Tirumala has historic relevance and connection to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams for over 700 years from the times of Vijayanagara empire; the patronage was later continued by Mysore Wodeyars. The current facilities of Karnataka Pravasi Souda (KPS) is part of the donations & charities made by the erstwhile kings of Mysore Kingdom for the welfare of the people visiting Tirumala. After independence, as natural progression the facilities are being owned and managed by Government of Karnataka. KPS comes under Karnataka choultries maintained by Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments (KHRICE) Department. Located in the prime location of Tirumala, pilgrims can easily reach out to KPS to avail accommodation.
